Jesper Gervais vs Hello Baston

Boxing Daily Report from the Makasdjian Promotions promoted show at Croix des Bouqets Larive, Croix des Bouqets,  taking place on 25/05/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Haiti-Ouest Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jesper Gervais (16(9) - 7(1)) who hails from Delmas, Haiti and Hello Baston(7 - 3(1) - 2) from Carrefour, Haiti.  Both Gervais and Baston weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Laurent Nolle, and the three ringside judges are Hubert Fontaine, Gerald Oltz and Canaan Beaudoin.  

Round 1:

Gervais voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Baston accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Gervais.  
Baston is clearly losing his cool here!   He steps in close and swings a low uppercut into Gervais's groin!  The ref separates the two fighters and tells Baston to keep his punches up.  He gives Gervais a few minutes to recover.
