Sajid Habeeb vs Yuichi Sugiyama

Boxing Daily Report from the AL Promotions promoted show at Tokyo Ishimoto, Tokyo,  taking place on 26/05/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sajid Habeeb (41(35) - 5(1) - 1) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Yuichi Sugiyama(7 - 6(1)) from Tokyo, Japan.  Habeeb weighed in at 126 pounds, while Sugiyama weighed in at 125 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hiroki Amaya, and the three ringside judges are Jiro Fukumoto, Nori Suzuki and Yasushi Uchida.  

Round 1: 

Habeeb closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Habeeb ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Habeeb pushes his forearm into Sugiyama's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Habeeb.

Habeeb manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Habeeb lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sugiyama dabs at his face checking for damage.
