Boxing Daily Report from the Ognjen promoted show at Civic Auditorium, San Jose,  taking place on 03/06/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Carlos Alfaro (1(1) - 0) who hails from Monterrey, Mexico and Rhys Banks(0 - 4(1)) from Lincoln, USA.  Alfaro weighed in at 139 pounds And 14 ounces, while Banks weighed in at 140 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Leon Corona, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Kinnon, Alen Pryor and Malcolm Mayorga.  

Round 1: 

Alfaro gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Alfaro ties up his opponent.  Alfaro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Alfaro.  
Alfaro lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Banks advances into close range.  Alfaro lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Alfaro clinches his opponent.  Alfaro hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Alfaro leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Alfaro hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Alfaro connects with a stinging right hook.  Alfaro clinches his opponent.  Alfaro is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Alfaro pushes his forearm into Banks's face.  The referee warns Alfaro and breaks the clinch.  
Alfaro lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Alfaro sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Alfaro lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Alfaro lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS BANKS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Alfaro lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND BANKS IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Alfaro slams a DEVASTATING right uppercut into his opponents body.  BANKS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE BANKS CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Alfaro!
