Damir Anic vs Norbert Pettinger

Boxing Daily Report from the Ognjen promoted show at Westin Zagreb Hotel, Zagreb,  taking place on 02/06/2043:

Clearly Ognjen have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Damir Anic (8(5) - 0) who hails from Zagreb, Croatia and Norbert Pettinger(1 - 4) from Leipzig, Germany.  Anic weighed in at 125 pounds and 9 ounces, while Pettinger weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dinko Kos, and the three ringside judges are Antonijo Bastašic, Dušan Grbeša and Krsto Valentic.  

Round 1: 

Anic is looking to close the distance and drives a sharp left hook into Pettinger's body.  
Anic lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Anic clinches his opponent.  Anic is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Anic lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Pettinger steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Anic steps inside.  Anic sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Pettinger's ribs.  
Anic lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Pettinger quickly recovers. 
Pettinger finds the target with a jab.  
Anic advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Anic throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Anic holds on to his opponent.  Anic pushes his forearm into Pettinger's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Anic quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pettinger is on target with a cross.  
Anic advances into close range.  Pettinger throws a left hook, but Anic ties up his opponent.  Anic tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Pettinger's kidney. 
Anic digs in a left hook to Pettinger's body.  
Pettinger tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Anic sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut to Pettinger's body.  
Anic closes the distance and digs in a sharp right hook to Pettinger's ribs.  
Anic advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Anic lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Anic lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Anic clinches his opponent.  Anic throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Anic's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Anic lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Anic holds on to his opponent.  Anic is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Anic to stop fouling.  
Anic lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS PETTINGER SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  Pettinger quickly recovers. 
Anic closes the distance and digs in a solid right hook to Pettinger's body.  
Anic lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Anic gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Anic closes the distance and is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Anic advances into close range and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.

Pettinger tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Anic forces Pettinger to retreat onto the ropes.  Anic lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Pettinger throws a left hook, but Anic holds on to his opponent.  Anic leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Anic forces Pettinger to back into the corner.  Anic lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DROPS PETTINGER TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Anic crashes a DESTRUCTIVE left hook to his opponents ribs.  DOWN GOES PETTINGER!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE PETTINGER THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Anic!
