Alessio Messa vs Gianfranco Togliatti

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Tuscany promoted show at Florence Leonardo, Florence,  taking place on 26/05/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Italy-Tuscany Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alessio Messa (7(3) - 1) who hails from Prato, Italy and Gianfranco Togliatti(15 - 8 - 3) from Prato, Italy.  Messa weighed in at 126 pounds, while Togliatti weighed in at 125 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fabio Chiamparino, and the three ringside judges are Vico Trupia, Vico Agostino and Vico Agostino.  

Round 1: 

Messa steps inside.  Messa pivots to the side of his opponent.  Togliatti attempts to land a right hook, but Messa dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Messa drives a left hook into Togliatti's body.  Messa clinches his opponent.  Messa leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Messa is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  Messa throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Messa is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.

Messa drives a left uppercut into Togliatti's liver.  
Messa closes the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Messa lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Togliatti recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Togliatti tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

Messa drives a right uppercut into Togliatti's ribs.  
Messa feints a right, and then drives a telling left hook into Togliatti's liver.  TOGLIATTI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Togliatti quickly recovers. 
Messa lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Messa sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Messa knows Togliatti is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Messa lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND DROPS TOGLIATTI TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Togliatti has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Messa closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Messa throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Messa holds on to his opponent.  Messa leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Messa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to Togliatti's body.  
Messa lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Messa lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS TOGLIATTI!  He manages to get up at 4.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Togliatti's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Togliatti's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Messa drives a powerful right hook into his opponents body.  TOGLIATTI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Messa drives a left uppercut into Togliatti's ribs.  
Messa is looking to close the distance and lands a solid right hook.  Messa holds on to his opponent.  Messa leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Messa's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
