Vidal Bermudes vs Carlos Botelho

Boxing Daily Report from the Kleber Recife promoted show at Salvador Ponte, Salvador,  taking place on 30/05/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Brazil-Bahia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vidal Bermudes (22 - 17(4) - 3) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Carlos Botelho(5(4) - 0) from Salvador, Brazil.  Bermudes weighed in at 147 pounds, while Botelho weighed in at 146 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Pinheiro, and the three ringside judges are Rafael Eanes, Venacio Amparo and Ivan Pinta.  

Round 1: 

Botelho gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Botelho lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Botelho advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Botelho steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Botelho lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Botelho gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Bermudes almost instantly recovers. 
Botelho lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Botelho clinches his opponent.  Botelho pushes his forearm into Bermudes's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Bermudes switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right.  
Botelho advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Bermudes switches the action to the outside and is on target with an overhand left.  Bermudes attempts to land a jab, but Botelho sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Botelho lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Botelho steps inside and digs in a solid right hook to Bermudes's ribs.  
Botelho manouvers Bermudes onto the ropes.  Botelho lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Botelho digs in a left hook to Bermudes's body.  
Bermudes connects with a cross.  
Botelho gets on the inside and walks Bermudes onto the ropes.  Botelho lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Botelho digs in a forceful right hook to his opponents body.  BERMUDES IS HURT!  
It looks like Bermudes has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Botelho digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Botelho hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Botelho lands a left hook.  Botelho holds on to his opponent.  Botelho is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Botelho pushes his forearm into Bermudes's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Botelho lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Botelho whips in a hurtful left hook to Bermudes's liver.  BERMUDES WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Botelho holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Botelho pushes his forearm into Bermudes's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Botelho thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Bermudes away.  Botelho lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND BERMUDES IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Bermudes now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bermudes's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Botelho lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS BERMUDES SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Botelho!
