Brigham Duchesnay vs Vincent Muirhead

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Colisee de Quebec, Quebec City,  taking place on 20/06/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Brigham Duchesnay (2(2) - 0) who hails from Laval, Canada and Vincent Muirhead(1 - 0) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Duchesnay and Muirhead weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bruce Hathorne, and the three ringside judges are Michael Patillo, Severin Duchesnay and Briar Gide.  

Round 1: 

Duchesnay feints a jab and triggers a cross counter from Muirhead.  Duchesnay springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut to Muirhead's body.  
Duchesnay closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Duchesnay is looking to close the distance.  Muirhead throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Duchesnay clinches his opponent.  Duchesnay is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Duchesnay closes the distance.  Duchesnay sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Duchesnay lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Duchesnay ties up his opponent.  Duchesnay pushes his forearm into Muirhead's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Duchesnay to stop fouling.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Muirhead dabs at his face checking for damage.  Muirhead has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Duchesnay sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Duchesnay is on target with a left uppercut.  Duchesnay ties up his opponent.  Duchesnay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Duchesnay is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Duchesnay.  
Duchesnay sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Muirhead throws a left hook, but Duchesnay clinches his opponent.  Duchesnay leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Duchesnay gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Muirhead throws a left uppercut, but Duchesnay clinches his opponent.  Duchesnay throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Duchesnay uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Muirhead behind the head. 
Duchesnay is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Duchesnay gets on the inside and is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Duchesnay cuts off the ring, trapping Muirhead in the blue corner.  Duchesnay lands a left hook.  
Duchesnay digs in a stinging right hook to Muirhead's body.  
Muirhead pivots to the right of his opponent.  Duchesnay lands a cross.  Duchesnay throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Duchesnay closes the distance.  Duchesnay quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND SENDS MUIRHEAD TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  Muirhead almost instantly recovers.

Duchesnay gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Duchesnay is looking to force the stoppage!  Duchesnay lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS MUIRHEAD DOWN!  The ref does not give Muirhead the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Duchesnay!
