Gus Hardy vs David Bearup

Boxing Daily Report from the Mikey promoted show at Jack Bissett Gym, Miami,  taking place on 06/06/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Florida Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gus Hardy (6 - 19(1) - 2) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and David Bearup(1 - 9 - 1) from Tallahassee, USA.  Both Hardy and Bearup weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Trevino, and the three ringside judges are John Owens, Fanuco Onate and Vicente Monarrez.  

Round 1: 

Hardy gets on the inside.  Bearup lands a left hook.  Hardy wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Bearup has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
