Paul McCleary vs Evan Dougherty

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at The O2, Dublin,  taking place on 04/07/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Irish Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paul McCleary (14(10) - 3) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Evan Dougherty(5 - 6(2) - 2) from Limerick, Ireland.  Both McCleary and Dougherty weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joshua Higgins, and the three ringside judges are Steven Stewart, Roy Clery and Joshua Higgins.  

Round 1: 

McCleary advances into close range.  Dougherty pivots to the left of his opponent.  Dougherty throws a left uppercut, but McCleary clinches his opponent.  McCleary is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
McCleary pivots to the right of his opponent.  Dougherty throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  McCleary ties up his opponent.  McCleary is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. McCleary is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McCleary is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
McCleary is looking to close the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
McCleary SLAMS a big left uppercut into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE DOUGHERTY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
McCleary sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  McCleary lands a right hook to the head, a cross to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
McCleary lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS DOUGHERTY DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  McCleary ties up his opponent.  McCleary is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns McCleary.  
Dougherty could be stopped here, if McCleary can find the right shot!  McCleary lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING DOUGHERTY DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Dougherty can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is McCleary!
