Michael Starrett vs Dan Blyth

Boxing Daily Report from the Shima-Enaga promoted show at Shima-Enaga Gym, Nassau,  taking place on 11/07/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Michael Starrett (2 - 0) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Dan Blyth(0 - 4) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Both Starrett and Blyth weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vince Griffiths, and the three ringside judges are Dan Fauls, Andy Jamison and Jack Binnie.  

Round 1: 

Blyth closes the distance.  Starrett lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Starrett steps inside.  Starrett sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Starrett connects with a left hook.  Starrett holds on to his opponent.  Starrett pushes his forearm into Blyth's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Starrett to stop fouling.  
Blyth is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Starrett feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Starrett finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Blyth is looking to close the distance and manages to force Starrett into the corner.  Blyth throws a left uppercut, but Starrett clinches his opponent.  Starrett is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Starrett's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Blyth gets on the inside.  Blyth pivots to the left of his opponent andAs Blyth tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Starrett dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Starrett lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Starrett gets on the inside.  Starrett sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Starrett drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Starrett holds on to his opponent.  Starrett tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Blyth's kidney. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Blyth's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Blyth's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Blyth's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Blyth tries to step out of his opponents range.  Starrett hits home with a firm cross.  
Starrett pivots to the left of his opponent.  Starrett wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Blyth.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Starrett closes the distance and drives a right hook into Blyth's body.  
Blyth is looking to keep his distance.  Starrett sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Starrett pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.
