Onofre Sepeda vs Gig Esquivel

Boxing Daily Report from the Mashaba Promotions promoted show at Montel Rolon Gym, Managua,  taking place on 12/06/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Onofre Sepeda (10 - 16(1) - 1) who hails from Managua, Nicaragua and Gig Esquivel(17(14) - 4(2)) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Sepeda and Esquivel weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aimon Cortinas, and the three ringside judges are Franco Charo, Roman Rodriguez and Montana Devera.  

Round 1: 

Esquivel lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  Esquivel holds on to his opponent.  Esquivel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Esquivel about fouling.

It looks like Sepeda has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
