Moubarak Kanybec vs Evgeny Itigilov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mongolia-Ulaanbaatar promoted show at Mongolian Youth Sports Center, Ulaanbaatar,  taking place on 14/06/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mongolia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MNB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Moubarak Kanybec (22(19) - 6(4)) who hails from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Evgeny Itigilov(9 - 18(2) - 2) from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.  Kanybec weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces, while Itigilov weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barir Valihanoff, and the three ringside judges are Toma Gularans, Vasili Khishig and Vikenti Namnansuren.

Kanybec crashes a nasty left hook to his opponents liver.  ITIGILOV IS HURT!  
Kanybec steps away from his opponent.  Kanybec senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Kanybec lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND DROPS ITIGILOV TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  
Kanybec whips in a mean left hook to Itigilov's body.  ITIGILOV HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Itigilov has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Kanybec is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a spiteful jab.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Itigilov's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Itigilov's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Kanybec lands two overhand rights followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Itigilov almost instantly gets his legs back.

Kanybec lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Itigilov lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kanybec switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Kanybec feints a jab, and then hits home with a cross.  
Kanybec steps to the outside and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Kanybec throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Kanybec clinches his opponent.  Kanybec is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Itigilov is looking to close the distance.  Kanybec drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  Kanybec ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kanybec pushes his forearm into Itigilov's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

The right shot from Kanybec could be enough to force the stoppage!  Kanybec lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS ITIGILOV TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.  
Kanybec lands a left hook to the body, a cross to the head and a right uppercut to the head, AND ITIGILOV IS DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Kanybec!
