Shamus McNicol vs Khalid Aziz

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at The O2, Dublin,  taking place on 04/07/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shamus McNicol (10(6) - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Khalid Aziz(12 - 8(3) - 1) from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  McNicol weighed in at 168 pounds, while Aziz weighed in at 167 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Roy Clery, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Higgins, Steven Stewart and Joshua Higgins.  

Round 1: 

McNicol steps away from his opponent.  Aziz attempts to land a jab, but McNicol slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Aziz advances into close range.  McNicol pivots to the left of his opponent.  McNicol lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  McNicol ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McNicol pushes his forearm into Aziz's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McNicol about fouling.  
McNicol sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands with a hard jab.  
McNicol lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  McNicol attempts to land a cross, but Aziz blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Aziz is looking to close the distance.  McNicol hits home with a right hook.  McNicol ties up his opponent.  McNicol is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Aziz walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Aziz throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
McNicol quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a spiteful jab.

McNicol steps to the outside.  McNicol feints a jab, and then hits home with a cross.  
Aziz gets on the inside.  McNicol throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  McNicol ties up his opponent.  McNicol leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Aziz closes the distance.  McNicol is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.

McNicol is looking to keep the action on the outside and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Aziz is looking to close the distance.  McNicol pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
McNicol feints a cross, and then lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.
