Dave Mathew vs John Gray

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Olympic Park Sports Centre, Sydney,  taking place on 06/06/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dave Mathew (2(1) - 0) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and John Gray(22 - 19(2) - 5) from North Shore, New Zealand.  Both Mathew and Gray weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Bellis, and the three ringside judges are Jordan Duane, Jordan Spanos and Arnie Lipton.  

Round 1: 

Mathew closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Mathew holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Mathew pushes his forearm into Gray's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mathew digs in a solid right hook to Gray's ribcage.  
Mathew lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Mathew steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Mathew holds on to his opponent.  Mathew is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mathew to stop fouling.

Mathew pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a firm cross.  
Mathew is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  Mathew attempts to land a cross, but Gray blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Gray switches the action to the outside.  Mathew connects with a firm cross.  
Mathew attempts to land a left hook, but Gray blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mathew throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Mathew holds on to his opponent.  Mathew leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Mathew drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Mathew clinches his opponent.  Mathew uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Gray behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mathew about fouling.  
Mathew walks Gray into a corner.  Mathew is on target with a sharp left hook to Gray's body.  
Mathew lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mathew lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Mathew holds on to his opponent.  Mathew is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Mathew's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mathew feints a right, and then lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the body and a cross to the head.

Mathew advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mathew forces Gray to back into a corner.  As Gray tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Mathew.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Mathew hits home with a ramrod jab.
