Rhys Garmon vs Lewys Powell

Boxing Daily Report from the Terry Promotions promoted show at Cardiff Egerton, Cardiff,  taking place on 18/06/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Wales Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rhys Garmon (5 - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Lewys Powell(6(1) - 1 - 1) from Cardiff, UK.  Both Garmon and Powell weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Edwyn Brodie, and the three ringside judges are Terry Lyons, Joshua Gillespie and Lewys Cooper.  

Round 1: 

Garmon attempts to land a cross, but Powell sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.

Powell cuts off the ring, trapping Garmon in a corner.  Powell whips in a mean left uppercut to Garmon's liver.  GARMON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Garmon recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
