Ja-choel Noh vs Hideki Maeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Hanshin Racecourse, Takarazuka,  taking place on 13/06/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ja-choel Noh (1 - 0) who hails from Daegu, South Korea and Hideki Maeda(11 - 7 - 2) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Noh and Maeda weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hajime Nishioka, and the three ringside judges are Kazuhiko Sugita, Hajime Nishioka and Kyo Maekawa.  

Round 1: 

Noh lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Maeda throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Maeda digs in a left hook to Noh's ribs.  
Noh is on target with a solid right hook to Maeda's body.  
Noh is on target with a firm right hook to Maeda's body.  
Noh advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Noh steps inside and digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Noh gets on the inside.  Maeda tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Maeda pivots from in front of his opponent.  Noh lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Maeda sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Noh lands a sharp right uppercut.  
Maeda walks Noh onto the ropes.  Maeda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Maeda connects with a left hook.  Maeda throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Maeda pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Noh lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Noh lands a stinging jab.  Noh throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Noh is looking to close the distance.  Noh sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Noh gets on the inside.  Noh quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Maeda's body.  
Noh walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Maeda lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Noh holds on to his opponent.  Maeda uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Noh's kidney. 
Noh hits home with a solid left hook.  Noh clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Noh pushes his forearm into Maeda's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Maeda is on target with a jab.  
Noh pivots to the left of his opponent.  Maeda is on target with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Maeda's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Maeda's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Noh walks Maeda down, trapping him on the ropes.  Noh quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Noh lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Noh holds on to his opponent.  Noh is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Noh lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Maeda is looking to keep his distance.  Noh connects with a solid overhand right.  
Maeda tries to land a left uppercut, but Noh blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Maeda lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Noh steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Maeda tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Noh lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Maeda quickly recovers. 
Noh lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Maeda quickly recovers. 
Noh gets on the inside.  Maeda throws a right hook, but Noh ties up his opponent.  Noh uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Maeda's kidney. 
Maeda pivots to the side of his opponent.  Noh is on target with a left hook.  
Maeda switches the action to the outside.  Maeda sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Maeda throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.

Maeda pivots to the side of his opponent.  Noh lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Noh lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Noh is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Noh is on target with a potent left hook to his opponents body.  MAEDA IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Maeda is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Noh crashes a big left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  MAEDA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Noh lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body, AND SENDS MAEDA TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Maeda now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Noh throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Maeda pivots to the left of his opponent and hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Noh throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Noh lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Noh manages to force Maeda onto the ropes.  Noh lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Noh lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND KNOCKS MAEDA DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Maeda can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Noh!
