Carlos Almanzar vs Jose Peres

Boxing Daily Report from the Bawuah Promotions promoted show at Larenzo Cobian Gym, Acapulco,  taking place on 28/06/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guerrero Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Almanzar (7 - 19(1) - 2) who hails from Chipancingo, Mexico and Jose Peres(12 - 12(2) - 2) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Almanzar weighed in at 134 pounds and 5 ounces, while Peres weighed in at 134 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fidel Molina, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Verduzco, Alejandro Rayos and Cortez Armijo.  

Round 1: 

Almanzar manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Peres hits home with a right hook.
