Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Target Field, Minneapolis,  taking place on 01/08/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Showtime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pat McSorley (9(5) - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Joel Berwick(24 - 8(2) - 4) from Raleigh, USA.  McSorley weighed in at 168 pounds, while Berwick weighed in at 168 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Harry Streblow, and the three ringside judges are Charlie Genz, Nathan Langer and David Scholar.  

Round 1:

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McSorley dabs at his face checking for damage.  McSorley has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Berwick steps inside and forces McSorley to retreat onto the ropes.  McSorley lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
McSorley steps away from his opponent and lands a stinging jab.  
Berwick closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Berwick lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
McSorley steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Berwick parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Berwick manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  McSorley lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Berwick advances into close range.  McSorley crashes a nasty left hook to Berwick's ribs.  BERWICK IS HURT!  Berwick almost instantly recovers. 
McSorley is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand left.
