Jax Lorenzo vs Santiago Curiel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon promoted show at Monterrey Ferrin, Monterrey,  taking place on 01/06/2043:

Clearly AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jax Lorenzo (7(1) - 0) who hails from Guadalupe, Mexico and Santiago Curiel(17 - 19(1) - 4) from Monterrey, Mexico.  Both Lorenzo and Curiel weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Frisco Maya, and the three ringside judges are Emanuel Yanez, Onofre Medero and Cortez Gloria.  

Round 1: 

Curiel gets on the inside.  Lorenzo lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Lorenzo is looking to keep his distance and lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Lorenzo pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.

Lorenzo advances into close range and is on target with a sharp left uppercut.

Lorenzo closes the distance.  Lorenzo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Curiel closes the distance.  Lorenzo voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Curiel is whaling away with hooks, but Lorenzo keeps his defence tight.  
Lorenzo gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Curiel's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Curiel's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Lorenzo is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Lorenzo clinches his opponent.  Lorenzo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Curiel's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lorenzo about fouling.  
Lorenzo switches the action to the outside.  Lorenzo stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Lorenzo slams a spiteful right hook into his opponents ribs.  CURIEL IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Curiel now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Lorenzo is looking to close the distance.  Curiel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lorenzo lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Lorenzo holds on to his opponent.  Lorenzo pushes his forearm into Curiel's face.  The referee warns Lorenzo and breaks the clinch.  Curiel quickly recovers.
