Xeres Blas vs Alfonso Resendiz

Boxing Daily Report from the Sahaghyan Promotions promoted show at Madrid Lainez, Madrid,  taking place on 03/07/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Southern Europe Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Marca TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xeres Blas (23(4) - 17(2) - 1) who hails from Madrid, Spain and Alfonso Resendiz(24(18) - 5(4) - 1) from Alicante, Spain.  Both Blas and Resendiz weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Cobos, and the three ringside judges are Desiderio Morin, Vicente Olvera and Carlos Montesino.  

Round 1: 

Resendiz lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
