Fendy Ong vs Haider Ahmad

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at KLCC Exhibition Hall, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 29/06/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Fendy Ong (7(5) - 0) who hails from Bandar Lampung, Indonesia and Haider Ahmad(19 - 7(3) - 2) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Ong weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces, while Ahmad weighed in at 128 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Ishmael, and the three ringside judges are Bing Leung, Haaris Aziz and Ibrahim Mohammed.  

Round 1: 

Ahmad throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Ong drives a solid left hook into Ahmad's body.  
Ong advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ong lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Ong lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Ahmad forces Ong to retreat onto the ropes.  Ahmad is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Ong steps inside.  Ong pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND DOWN GOES AHMAD!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Ong lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Ahmad quickly recovers. 
Ong lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Ong holds on to his opponent.  Ong is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Ahmad almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ong lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Ong holds on to his opponent.  Ong is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ong lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND AHMAD IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Ong clinches his opponent.  Ong throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. As they grapple, Ong pushes his forearm into Ahmad's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ong to stop fouling.  Ahmad quickly recovers. 
Ahmad lands with a spiteful jab.  
Ong gets on the inside and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Ong advances into close range.  Ong sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Ahmad's body.  
Ong lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Ahmad quickly recovers. 
Ahmad is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Ong walks Ahmad down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ong slams a nasty left hook into Ahmad's body.  AHMAD IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Ahmad attempts to land a jab, but Ong sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Ong lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Ahmad lands with a sharp jab.  
Ong strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Ong is looking to close the distance and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Ahmad is looking to keep his distance.  Ong attempts to land a cross, but Ahmad blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ong lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Ong manages to force Ahmad into a neutral corner.  Ong lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ong drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Ong lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Ahmad almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ahmad's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Ong digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Ahmad tries to keep the action at long range.  Ong tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ong gets on the inside.  Ong sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ong pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Ahmad quickly recovers. 
Ahmad sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a firm left hook.  
Ong gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Ong is on target with a left uppercut.  
Ong is on target with a stinging left hook to Ahmad's body.  
Ahmad lands with a ramrod jab.  
Ong closes the distance and lands a sharp left uppercut.  Ong attempts to land a left uppercut, but Ahmad parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Ong lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, DROPPING AHMAD TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Ahmad cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Ong!
