Clinton Pangcob vs Nathan Tan

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at KLCC Exhibition Hall, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 13/07/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Clinton Pangcob (6(6) - 0) who hails from Batangas City, Philippines and Nathan Tan(16(2) - 4(1)) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Pangcob weighed in at 122 pounds, while Tan weighed in at 121 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Haider Amir, and the three ringside judges are Saad Zogby, Zuffur Haq and Balamurali Shetty.  

Round 1: 

Pangcob lands with a hard jab.  
Tan pivots to the side of his opponent.  Tan attempts to land a left hook, but Pangcob blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Pangcob closes the distance and drives a right hook into Tan's body.  
Pangcob lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Tan recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Pangcob gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Pangcob tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Pangcob is looking to close the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Pangcob ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Pangcob pushes his forearm into Tan's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pangcob advances into close range.  Tan pivots to the right of his opponent.  Tan throws a left hook, but Pangcob clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Pangcob pushes his forearm into Tan's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Tan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Pangcob advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Pangcob snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Tan lands a jab.  
Pangcob steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Tan recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Pangcob walks Tan down, trapping him on the ropes.  Pangcob lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Pangcob lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS TAN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Pangcob clinches his opponent.  Pangcob pushes his forearm into Tan's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Pangcob to stop fouling.  
Pangcob knows Tan is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Pangcob lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  Tan now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Tan pivots to the right of his opponent.  Tan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Pangcob holds on to his opponent.  Pangcob leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pangcob hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Tan steps to the outside.  Pangcob lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Pangcob steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Pangcob drives a solid right uppercut into Tan's ribcage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tan's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Tan's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Tan tries to step out of his opponents range.  Pangcob finds the target with a jab.  
Tan pivots to the side of his opponent.  Tan drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Pangcob clinches his opponent.  Pangcob tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Tan behind the head. 
Pangcob lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Pangcob attempts to land a jab, but Tan parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Tan is on target with a cross.  
Tan drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Pangcob attempts to land a left hook, but Tan blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Tan throws a right hook, but Pangcob holds on to his opponent.  Tan leans on his opponent using all his weight. Pangcob tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Tan behind the head. The ref breaks Pangcob's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pangcob advances into close range.  Pangcob pivots from in front of his opponent.  Pangcob is on target with a right hook to Tan's body.  Pangcob tries to land a right hook, but Tan parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Pangcob's body.  
Pangcob walks Tan down, trapping him in the corner.  Pangcob lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND TAN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  Tan almost instantly recovers. 
Pangcob whips in a mean right uppercut to his opponents body.  TAN IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.
