Santiago Vas vs Jay McAdam

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at HSBC Arena, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 03/10/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Vas (19(12) - 0) who hails from Goiania, Brazil and Jay McAdam(29(10) - 22(11) - 1) from Cork, Ireland.  Vas weighed in at 112 pounds, while McAdam weighed in at 111 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Corte, and the three ringside judges are Cris Brandao, Xaverius Lombardo and Venacio Reveles.  

Round 1: 

Vas gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

McAdam throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook to McAdam's body.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to McAdam.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
