Joshua Mullen vs Mason Alm

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Hank McCamish Pavilion, Atlanta,  taking place on 29/08/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joshua Mullen (7(3) - 0) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Mason Alm(1 - 2(1)) from Columbus, USA.  Both Mullen and Alm weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jacob Quigley, and the three ringside judges are Justin Sandison, Richard Rutherford and Paul Orem.  

Round 1: 

Mullen steps inside.  Alm throws a right hook, but Mullen ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Mullen pushes his forearm into Alm's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mullen to stop fouling.  
Mullen advances into close range and is on target with a solid left uppercut to Alm's body.  
Alm is looking to keep his distance.  Alm throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Mullen time to recover.  
Mullen gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  Mullen holds on to his opponent.  Mullen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Alm quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mullen drives a left hook into Alm's body.  Mullen ties up his opponent.  Mullen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Alm throws a left hook, but Mullen ties up his opponent.  Mullen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mullen walks Alm down, trapping him in the corner.  Mullen lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Alm throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Mullen sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Alm attempts to land a right hook, but Mullen slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Mullen digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Mullen tries to land a left uppercut, but Alm blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mullen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.

Alm throws a right hook, but Mullen ties up his opponent.  Mullen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Mullen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Mullen forces Alm to back into a corner.  Mullen senses Alm is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Mullen lands a left hook to the head followed by two left uppercut's to the body, AND ALM IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Alm has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Mullen lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND ALM IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Mullen pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Alm almost instantly recovers. 
Mullen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.

Mullen digs in a firm right hook to Alm's body.  
Mullen lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mullen lands a left hook.

Mullen is on target with a hurtful left hook.  ALM IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Mullen!
