Alen Mason vs David Nicolson

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Tier Nightclub, Orlando,  taking place on 02/07/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Alen Mason (1 - 0) who hails from Cape Coral, USA and David Nicolson(0 - 0) from Montgomery, USA.  Mason weighed in at 115 pounds, while Nicolson weighed in at 114 pounds And 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Pedro Mazo, and the three ringside judges are Alano Gimenez, Owen Covington and Daniel Ruthven.  

Round 1: 

Mason steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Nicolson sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mason lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mason quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Nicolson throws a right hook, but Mason ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Mason pushes his forearm into Nicolson's face.  The referee warns Mason and breaks the clinch.  
Nicolson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Nicolson throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Mason throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Mason clinches his opponent.  Mason is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Nicolson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mason is looking to close the distance.  Nicolson lands a right hook.  Mason ties up his opponent.  Nicolson pushes his forearm into Mason's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nicolson.  
Mason is looking to close the distance and drives a firm left hook into Nicolson's liver.  
Nicolson lands with a solid jab.  
Nicolson pivots to the right of his opponent.  Nicolson throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.

Mason closes the distance.  Nicolson hits home with a firm left hook.  Nicolson throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mason forces Nicolson to retreat into a corner.  Nicolson throws a left hook, but Mason clinches his opponent.  Mason leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mason digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  Mason holds on to his opponent.  Mason leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Nicolson pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mason lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mason lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Mason advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mason clinches his opponent.  Mason uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Nicolson's kidney. The referee warns Mason and breaks the clinch.  Nicolson quickly recovers. 
Nicolson pivots to the right of his opponent and hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Mason closes the distance.  Nicolson lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mason lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Mason digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mason's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Nicolson's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Mason drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Mason steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mason hits home with a cross.  
Nicolson tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mason feints a right hook, and then hits home with a firm overhand right.  Mason attempts to land a cross, but Nicolson sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Mason gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging right hook to Nicolson's body.  
Mason is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  Mason attempts to land a left hook, but Nicolson blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mason lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mason lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mason advances into close range.  Nicolson drives a right hook into Mason's ribs.  Mason holds on to his opponent.  Mason leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mason dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mason slams a big right hook into Nicolson's ribs.  NICOLSON IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Mason is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mason forces Nicolson to back into the ropes.  Mason digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Nicolson hits home with a right hook.  
Mason digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.

Mason steps inside.  Nicolson voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Mason tries to tag Nicolson on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Mason drives a firm right hook into Nicolson's body.  
Mason lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS NICOLSON SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Mason tries to land a cross, but Nicolson sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  Nicolson now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Mason gets on the inside and crashes a nasty right hook to Nicolson's ribcage.  NICOLSON IS HURT!  Nicolson recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Mason lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Mason attempts to land a right hook, but Nicolson dodges the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.

Mason lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  As Mason tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Nicolson has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Mason sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mason throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mason sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Nicolson finds the target with a jab.  
Mason gets on the inside and whips in a mean left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE NICOLSON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Mason clinches his opponent.  Mason is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mason to stop holding.  Nicolson recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mason sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Mason gets on the inside.  Nicolson is on target with a left hook.

Nicolson tries to keep the action at long range.  Mason lands a solid cross.  
Mason advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Nicolson almost instantly recovers.
