Simon Boyer vs Ciel Dauphin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Senegal-Dakar promoted show at Gage Herard Gym, Dakar,  taking place on 15/07/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Senegal Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Simon Boyer (6 - 4) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Ciel Dauphin(5 - 0) from Dakar, Senegal.  Both Boyer and Dauphin weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Garner Seyrig, and the three ringside judges are Gaston Ndong, Geron Jacque and Audric Trzeguet.  

Round 1: 

Dauphin closes the distance.  Dauphin throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Boyer's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Dauphin forces Boyer to back into a neutral corner.  Dauphin hits home with a left uppercut.

Boyer retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Dauphin tries to tag Boyer on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Dauphin lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
