Fraser Connolly vs Marcus Laird

Boxing Daily Report from the Mthethwa Promotions promoted show at Edinburgh Parry, Edinburgh,  taking place on 17/07/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fraser Connolly (41(13) - 8(2)) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Marcus Laird(3 - 18(1)) from Edinburgh, UK.  Connolly weighed in at 122 pounds, while Laird weighed in at 121 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Andrew Frew, and the three ringside judges are Gordon MacDuff, Gordon Loch and Patrick McBeth.
