Rehan Masood vs Hayden Ankomah

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Greater Accra promoted show at Frankie's Hotel, Accra,  taking place on 16/07/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rehan Masood (26(18) - 0 - 1) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Hayden Ankomah(30 - 8(4) - 2) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Masood and Ankomah weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Deion Ayew, and the three ringside judges are Neil Sribor, Joe Kessels and Aaron Adams.  

Round 1: 

Masood is looking to close the distance.  Masood pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Ankomah lands a left hook to the head followed by a cross to the body.  Ankomah throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ankomah steps inside.  Ankomah sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Masood lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Masood attempts to land a left hook, but Ankomah slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Masood closes the distance.  Masood stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Masood lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS ANKOMAH!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Ankomah has now recovered from that shot earlier.
