Dawid Janek vs Macief Wielgus

Boxing Daily Report from the Jaromir Dobroniecki promoted show at Hala Wisly, Krakow,  taking place on 06/08/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Poland Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dawid Janek (23(10) - 7(3)) who hails from Poznan, Poland and Macief Wielgus(12 - 7(3) - 1) from Płock, Poland.  Both Janek and Wielgus weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roman Stefanski, and the three ringside judges are Bonifacy Ciesielski, Krystian Gabris and Marcin Slowik.  

Round 1: 

Janek lands a ramrod jab.  
Wielgus steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Janek advances into close range.  Wielgus is on target with a right uppercut.

Wielgus is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a cross, but Janek sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.

Janek advances into close range.  Wielgus pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.

Janek closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Wielgus on the ropes.  Janek lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Wielgus dabs at his face checking for damage.

Wielgus switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Janek slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Janek closes the distance.  Janek voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Wielgus tries to tag Janek on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Janek is looking to close the distance.  Wielgus pivots from in front of his opponent.  Janek throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Janek holds on to his opponent.  Janek is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Janek about fouling.  
Wielgus sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Wielgus throws a right uppercut, but Janek holds on to his opponent.  Wielgus pushes his forearm into Janek's face.  The referee warns Wielgus and breaks the clinch.  
Wielgus quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Janek is on target with a stinging right hook.  Janek throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.
