John Lawlis vs Rob Hargest

Boxing Daily Report from the Shima-Enaga promoted show at Shima-Enaga Gym, Nassau,  taking place on 22/08/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Lawlis (5 - 1) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Rob Hargest(2 - 8 - 1) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Both Lawlis and Hargest weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matt Dawe, and the three ringside judges are Bob Burnet, Glynn Dobson and Daniel Mollison.  

Round 1:

Hargest attempts to land a jab, but Lawlis dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Lawlis pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Lawlis feints a right hook, and then attempts to land a jab, but Hargest sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Lawlis is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Lawlis lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Hargest gets on the inside.  Lawlis lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Hargest advances into close range.  Lawlis lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.

Lawlis is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.  
Lawlis lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Hargest steps inside.  Lawlis drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Lawlis clinches his opponent.  Lawlis is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Hargest is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Hargest.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.
