Cortez Mare vs Xaver Olmo

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Arena México, Mexico City,  taking place on 22/08/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Azteca, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cortez Mare (31(23) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Xaver Olmo(38(7) - 31(13) - 1) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Both Mare and Olmo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Olindo Valenzuela, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Landaverde, Carlos Santistevan and Leonel Jacome.  

Round 1: 

Mare hits home with a cross.
