Joshua Mailer vs John Bel

Boxing Daily Report from the VictoryBoxing promoted show at Ottawa Carneal, Ottawa,  taking place on 22/07/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-Ontario Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joshua Mailer (22 - 16(8) - 2) who hails from Brampton, Canada and John Bel(17 - 12(3) - 6) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Mailer and Bel weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Raison, and the three ringside judges are Rob Travis, Charles Moss and Gareth Archie.  

Round 1: 

Bel sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Mailer is on target with a right hook.  As Bel tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mailer dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Bel forces Mailer to retreat into the corner.  Bel digs in a left hook to Mailer's body.  
Bel closes the distance and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Mailer switches the action to the outside.  Bel connects with a cross.  
Mailer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.
