Hayden Bates vs Nasario Reyes

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Indianapolis Weatherhead, Indianapolis,  taking place on 07/07/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Hayden Bates (13(10) - 0) who hails from Indianapolis, USA and Nasario Reyes(35 - 10 - 1) from Indianapolis, USA.  Bates weighed in at 200 pounds, while Reyes weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Philley, and the three ringside judges are Noel Housler, Mike Watterson and Bart Fyfe.  

Round 1: 

Bates closes the distance.  Reyes throws a right hook, but Bates holds on to his opponent.  Reyes leans on his opponent using all his weight. Reyes pushes his forearm into Bates's face.  The ref breaks Bates's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Bates throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Reyes throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Bates digs in a sharp left hook to Reyes's body.  
Reyes throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Bates lands a right uppercut.  
Bates steps inside.  Bates wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Reyes dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Bates quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bates attempts to land a jab, but Reyes blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Reyes closes the distance.  Bates is on target with a right hook to Reyes's ribs.  
Bates lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Bates clinches his opponent.  Bates is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Bates lands a stinging right hook.  
Bates is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Bates lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Bates throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Bates throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Reyes connects with a right hook.  
Bates drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Reyes drives a right hook into Bates's ribs.  
Bates throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Bates ties up his opponent.  Reyes is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bates drives a stinging cross into his opponents body.  
Bates gets on the inside and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Bates tries to land a left hook, but Reyes blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Bates is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Reyes lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Bates lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Bates clinches his opponent.  Reyes pushes his forearm into Bates's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Reyes's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Bates lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Reyes almost instantly recovers. 
Bates attempts to land a left hook, but Reyes blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Bates is on target with a firm left hook to Reyes's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE REYES WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Reyes recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Bates is on target with a left hook to Reyes's liver.  
Bates is on target with a left hook to Reyes's body.  
Reyes drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Bates digs in a left hook to Reyes's liver.  
Bates is on target with a right hook to Reyes's body.

Bates lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING REYES TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Bates senses Reyes is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Bates drives a forceful left hook into his opponents liver.  REYES IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Bates lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Bates slams a DESTRUCTIVE left uppercut into his opponents liver.  REYES IS DOWN!  THE REF IMMEDIATELY WAVES OFF THE FIGHT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Bates!
