Ricardo Cortes vs Tajo Bermudes

Boxing Daily Report from the PitBulls Promotions promoted show at Rio de Janeiro Macias, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 26/07/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Rio de Janeiro Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricardo Cortes (9 - 12 - 3) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Tajo Bermudes(27 - 16(1) - 5) from Duque de Cazias, Brazil.  Both Cortes and Bermudes weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hernan Morgado, and the three ringside judges are Roman Pacifico, Jair Danca and Juan Ramo.  

Round 1: 

Cortes tries to keep the action at long range.  Bermudes sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cortes tries to land a cross, but Bermudes blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Bermudes advances into close range.  Bermudes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cortes is on target with a right hook.  
Bermudes manages to force Cortes into the blue corner.  Bermudes hits home with a left hook.  
Bermudes sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cortes hits home with a left hook.

Cortes closes the distance.  Bermudes digs in a left hook to Cortes's body.
