Cillian Maguire vs Paul McArdle

Boxing Daily Report from the James Stone promoted show at Nathan Quinn Gym, Galway,  taking place on 26/07/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Connacht Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cillian Maguire (7 - 15(2)) who hails from Galway, Ireland and Paul McArdle(7 - 8 - 3) from Galway, Ireland.  Maguire weighed in at 125 pounds and 6 ounces, while McArdle weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fionn Madden, and the three ringside judges are Paul Mahoney, Chris Carroll and Ross Fitzgerald.  

Round 1: 

Maguire steps to the outside.  McArdle hits home with a cross.  
McArdle closes the distance.  McArdle wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Maguire dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Maguire sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McArdle hits home with a cross.  
McArdle finds the target with a jab.  
Maguire steps to the outside.  McArdle attempts to land a jab, but Maguire blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
