Andy Owen vs Nicholas Bourland

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Arizona promoted show at Peoria Weir, Peoria,  taking place on 03/08/2043:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Arizona Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Andy Owen (7 - 6(1) - 1) who hails from Gilbert, USA and Nicholas Bourland(8 - 2 - 2) from Phoenix, USA.  Owen weighed in at 130 pounds, while Bourland weighed in at 130 pounds and 12 ounces.    As Bourland came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Joseph Mickle, and the three ringside judges are Will Erwood, Scott Ingram and Dave Brodrick.  

Round 1: 

Bourland switches the action to the outside.  Owen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bourland connects with an overhand left.  
Bourland pivots to the left of his opponent andOwen wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Bourland has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.
