Malik Matoub vs Kashif Hussein

Boxing Daily Report from the Punch Drunk Promotions promoted show at Lanxess Arena, Cologne,  taking place on 12/09/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sport Deutschland, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Malik Matoub (5 - 0) who hails from Constantine, Algeria and Kashif Hussein(3 - 2(1)) from Cairo, Egypt.  Both Matoub and Hussein weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dieter Scheideman, and the three ringside judges are Kuno Laas, Spangler Samberg and Ulz Manzer.  

Round 1: 

Matoub gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hussein pivots to the left of his opponent.  Hussein throws a left hook, but Matoub clinches his opponent.  Matoub throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Matoub drives a left hook into Hussein's liver.  
Hussein is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Matoub lands a ramrod jab.  
Matoub tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Matoub drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  Matoub clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Matoub pushes his forearm into Hussein's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Matoub to stop fouling.  
Matoub manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Matoub digs in a stinging left uppercut to Hussein's body.  
Matoub lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, AND DROPS HUSSEIN TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Hussein quickly recovers. 
Hussein is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a cross.  
Hussein steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Matoub hits home with a left hook.  Matoub ties up his opponent.  Matoub leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hussein is on target with a jab.  
Hussein hits home with a right hook.  
Matoub advances into close range and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.  
Matoub closes the distance.  Hussein throws a right hook, but Matoub ties up his opponent.  Matoub uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Hussein behind the head. Matoub tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Hussein behind the head. Matoub leans on his opponent using all his weight. Matoub is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Matoub.  
Matoub sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hussein throws a right hook, but Matoub holds on to his opponent.  Matoub is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Matoub lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Matoub sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Matoub steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Hussein recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hussein's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Matoub digs in a left uppercut to Hussein's ribs.  
Matoub manouvers Hussein onto the ropes.  Hussein throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Matoub holds on to his opponent.  Matoub throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Matoub's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hussein pivots from in front of his opponent.  Matoub lands a spiteful jab.  
Hussein pivots to the left of his opponent.  Matoub lands a left hook.  Matoub ties up his opponent.  Matoub leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Matoub lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Matoub advances into close range and is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Matoub lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Matoub knows Hussein is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Matoub digs in a forceful right uppercut to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES HUSSEIN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Matoub advances into close range.  Matoub is on target with a powerful right hook to Hussein's ribcage.  HUSSEIN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Hussein now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Matoub advances into close range.  Hussein pivots from in front of his opponent.  Hussein throws a right uppercut, but Matoub ties up his opponent.  Matoub is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Matoub tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Hussein's kidney. The referee warns Matoub and breaks the clinch.  
Matoub is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES HUSSEIN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Matoub!
