Xalvador Lombardo vs Desiderio Barragan

Boxing Daily Report from the POWERHOUSE promoted show at Teatre Zorrilla, Badalona,  taking place on 18/08/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Marca TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xalvador Lombardo (24(23) - 3(3)) who hails from Burgos, Spain and Desiderio Barragan(15(8) - 4) from Barcelona, Spain.  Lombardo weighed in at 153 pounds And 4 ounces, while Barragan weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Can, and the three ringside judges are Diego Barrantes, Juan Fregoso and Juan Can.  

Round 1: 

Barragan advances into close range.  Lombardo pivots from in front of his opponent and whips in a hurtful right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE BARRAGAN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Barragan recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Barragan closes the distance.  Lombardo is on target with a firm right hook.

Barragan is looking to close the distance.  Lombardo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS BARRAGAN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Barragan quickly recovers.

Barragan steps inside.  As Barragan tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Lombardo has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Barragan is looking to close the distance and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Lombardo finds the target with a jab.  
Lombardo steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  Lombardo tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
