John New vs Kamran Akhter

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Selangor promoted show at Shah Alam Harron, Shah Alam,  taking place on 13/08/2043:

Clearly AI Malaysia-Selangor have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Malaysia-Selangor Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John New (6 - 3 - 1) who hails from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and Kamran Akhter(8 - 8(1) - 2) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  New weighed in at 153 pounds and 13 ounces, while Akhter weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Zadeh, and the three ringside judges are Ahmed Sesay, Sajid Madani and Rashid Ghani.
