Sancho Malave vs Cruz Batista

Boxing Daily Report from the Joram Promotions promoted show at Nicandro Bea Gym, Montevideo,  taking place on 16/08/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uruguay Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sancho Malave (4 - 3) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Cruz Batista(9 - 8) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Malave and Batista weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ivan Barco, and the three ringside judges are Seferino Moises, Iago Ramon and Jair Vilchis.  

Round 1: 

Batista lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Malave throws a left hook, but Batista holds on to his opponent.  Batista is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Malave is looking to keep his distance.  Batista hits home with a cross.
