Sargent Mbome vs Raoul Bodjongo

Boxing Daily Report from the Mulia Promotions promoted show at Maroua Bellanger, Maroua,  taking place on 15/08/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cameroon Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sargent Mbome (22(11) - 7(1)) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Raoul Bodjongo(15 - 4(1) - 1) from Maroua, Cameroon.  Both Mbome and Bodjongo weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gareth Gaudin, and the three ringside judges are Launcelot Lizarazu, Vachel Mang and Neville Oliver.  

Round 1: 

Bodjongo pivots to the right of his opponent.  Mbome lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mbome lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mbome forces Bodjongo to retreat into the corner.  Mbome lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mbome lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Mbome holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Mbome pushes his forearm into Bodjongo's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mbome pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a telling right hook to his opponents body.  BODJONGO IS HURT!  Bodjongo almost instantly recovers. 
Bodjongo pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mbome lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Mbome advances into close range and attempts to land a left hook, but Bodjongo blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mbome lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mbome steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mbome sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Mbome throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mbome advances into close range.  Mbome pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mbome lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Mbome clinches his opponent.  Mbome pushes his forearm into Bodjongo's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mbome.  
Mbome closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Mbome holds on to his opponent.  Bodjongo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mbome walks Bodjongo down, trapping him in a corner.  Mbome quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bodjongo throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Mbome ties up his opponent.  Mbome uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Bodjongo's kidney. 
Mbome drives a right uppercut into Bodjongo's body.  
Mbome lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Mbome is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mbome lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bodjongo's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Bodjongo's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Bodjongo connects with a left hook.  
Mbome closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mbome drives a left uppercut into Bodjongo's body.  
Mbome closes the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mbome walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Mbome connects with a left hook.  
Mbome lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mbome sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two jab's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Mbome is looking to close the distance and is on target with a firm left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Bodjongo pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mbome lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mbome lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mbome lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mbome lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mbome lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Mbome walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Mbome sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS BODJONGO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Bodjongo could be stopped here, if Mbome can find the right shot!  Mbome is on target with a forceful left hook to his opponents body.  BODJONGO IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Bodjongo now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Mbome lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Mbome digs in a left hook to Bodjongo's body.  
Mbome lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Mbome whips in a DEVASTATING right hook to his opponents ribcage.  DOWN GOES BODJONGO!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mbome dabs at his face checking for damage.  Mbome has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused swelling  around the right eye.  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Mbome!
