Lampron Vardanyan vs Ararad Kakussyan

Boxing Daily Report from the Only Good Fights promoted show at Yerevan Iskenderyan, Yerevan,  taking place on 18/08/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Armenia-Yerevan Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lampron Vardanyan (8 - 6 - 3) who hails from Yerevan, Armenia and Ararad Kakussyan(14 - 0) from Yerevan, Armenia.  Vardanyan weighed in at 108 pounds and 13 ounces, while Kakussyan weighed in at 108 pounds.    As Vardanyan came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Boghos Babanian, and the three ringside judges are Kalusd Frankian, Agnuni Saatjyan and Tivtsazn Injeian.  

Round 1: 

Kakussyan is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to Vardanyan's liver.
