Mel Dowie vs Ian Robbie

Boxing Daily Report from the Namugerwa Promotions promoted show at Edmonton Jack, Edmonton,  taking place on 19/08/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Dowie (8 - 6(1) - 1) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Ian Robbie(27 - 20(11) - 2) from Calgary, Canada.  Both Dowie and Robbie weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Dinwiddie, and the three ringside judges are Mark Storer, Robert Methvin and Zachary Shillinglaw.  

Round 1: 

Robbie is on target with a left uppercut.  
Robbie steps inside and manages to force Dowie into the corner.  Robbie lands a left hook.
