Juan Velasquez vs Angel Parco

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo promoted show at Miguel Civil Gym, Santo Domingo Norte,  taking place on 21/08/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Velasquez (5 - 11 - 2) who hails from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic and Angel Parco(6 - 19 - 2) from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic.  Both Velasquez and Parco weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Varona, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Carreno, Juan Arguijo and Edmundo Tesoro.  

Round 1: 

Velasquez switches the action to the outside.  Velasquez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Parco hits home with a cross.  
Parco is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Velasquez on the ropes.  Velasquez tries to land a left hook, but Parco sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Velasquez's body.  
Parco gets on the inside.  Parco is on target with a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Parco dabs at his face checking for damage.
