Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Silverboypromotions Gym, El Paso,  taking place on 15/08/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Rico Torrico (2(1) - 0) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Shaun Travis(0 - 1) from Oceanside, USA.  Torrico weighed in at 107 pounds and 14 ounces, while Travis weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Esson, and the three ringside judges are Colin Morgans, Euan Bellis and Max Mabon.  

Round 1: 

Torrico lands with a sharp jab.  Torrico tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Torrico lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Torrico clinches his opponent.  Torrico is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Torrico throws a right uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Torrico clinches his opponent.  Torrico is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Torrico and breaks the clinch.  
Torrico connects with a stinging right uppercut.  Torrico clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Torrico tries to land a right hook, but Travis blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Torrico drives a right hook into Travis's body.  
Torrico sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Torrico throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Torrico clinches his opponent.  Torrico uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Travis's kidney. The ref breaks Torrico's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Torrico lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Torrico pivots to the right of his opponent.  Torrico lands a right hook to the head followed by two left uppercut's to the body.  Torrico clinches his opponent.  Torrico is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Torrico steps inside and walks Travis down, trapping him in the red corner.  Torrico digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Torrico connects with a right hook.  Torrico ties up his opponent.  Torrico is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Torrico lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Torrico dabs at his face checking for damage.  Torrico has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Torrico digs in a solid right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Torrico digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Torrico hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Torrico forces Travis to back into the corner.  Torrico lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Travis manouvers Torrico onto the ropes.  Torrico hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Torrico hits home with a firm left hook.  
Torrico lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Torrico advances into close range and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Torrico lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Travis's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Travis's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Torrico knows Travis is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Torrico lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND TRAVIS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  It looks like Travis has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Torrico advances into close range and is on target with a firm left uppercut.
