David Cooney vs Malcolm Shirar

Boxing Daily Report from the Iain Llewellyn promoted show at City West Hotel, Dublin,  taking place on 11/09/2043:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Western Europe Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Cú Chulainn Cooney (34(21) - 2(2)) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Malcolm Shirar(24(6) - 9(6) - 1) from Hull, UK.  Both Cooney and Shirar weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joshua MacCarthy, and the three ringside judges are Steven Stewart, Brett Rabbitt and Dan McCorquodale.
