Barry David vs Mark Loar

Boxing Daily Report from the Oak Promotions promoted show at Christchurch Prentiss, Christchurch,  taking place on 30/08/2043:

Clearly Oak Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Barry David (2 - 5 - 2) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Mark Loar(13 - 10(2) - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both David and Loar weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Suite, and the three ringside judges are Hohepa Marino, Robert Laramore and Noel Haxton.  

Round 1: 

Loar tries to step out of his opponents range.  David tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
