Robert Awoonor vs Thompson Umaru

Boxing Daily Report from the Skebenga Corp promoted show at Len Clay Stadium, Kumasi,  taking place on 31/10/2043:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Western African Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat 1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Robert Awoonor (13(7) - 0) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Thompson Umaru(35 - 6(3) - 1) from Enugu, Nigeria.  Awoonor weighed in at 225 pounds and 10 ounces, while Umaru weighed in at 239 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ubanwa Akrofi, and the three ringside judges are Kai Adams, Vincent Lamptey and Connor Salifu.
