Damir Anic vs Jadran Maršic

Boxing Daily Report from the Ognjen promoted show at Arena Gripe Small Hall, Split,  taking place on 07/09/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Damir Anic (10(7) - 0) who hails from Zagreb, Croatia and Jadran Maršic(1 - 3) from Zagreb, Croatia.  Both Anic and Maršic weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joško Žgela, and the three ringside judges are Vito Glavica, Ladislav Igrec and Jakov Šunjic.  

Round 1: 

Anic is on target with a solid cross.  
Maršic tries to step out of his opponents range.  Anic sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Anic sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Maršic throws a left hook, but Anic holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Anic pushes his forearm into Maršic's face.  The referee warns Anic and breaks the clinch.  
Maršic throws a right hook, but Anic holds on to his opponent.  Anic leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Anic lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Anic clinches his opponent.  Anic is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Anic thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Maršic away.  Anic lands two left uppercuts followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a cross to the head.  The winner by KO is Anic!
