Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Michigan promoted show at Detroit Hojnacki, Detroit,  taking place on 07/09/2043:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Michigan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jonathan Sorden (24 - 17(6) - 5) who hails from Grand Rapids, USA and Davie Saarikoski(32(25) - 5(3)) from Detroit, USA.  Both Sorden and Saarikoski weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jacob Herritt, and the three ringside judges are Ian Duffey, Leon Russell and Sam Vannett.  

Round 1: 

Saarikoski closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Saarikoski walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Saarikoski lands a left uppercut.  
Saarikoski connects with a right hook.  
Sorden is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Saarikoski lands a jab.  
Saarikoski walks Sorden down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Saarikoski lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Saarikoski lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body, AND SORDEN IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Some sustained pressure from Saarikoski could be enough to finish Sorden!  Saarikoski lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS SORDEN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Sorden has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Saarikoski feints a jab, tricking Sorden into launching a right hook counter.  Saarikoski is waiting for the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sorden is looking to keep his distance and connects with a cross.  
Saarikoski lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Sorden connects with a cross.  
Sorden feints a jab and triggers a right hook counter from Saarikoski.  Sorden avoids the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Saarikoski gets on the inside and drives a sharp right hook into Sorden's ribs.  
Saarikoski lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Saarikoski walks Sorden down, trapping him in the corner.  Saarikoski is on target with a weighty left uppercut to his opponents body.  SORDEN IS HURT!  
Saarikoski senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Saarikoski lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  It looks like Sorden has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Saarikoski crashes a DESTRUCTIVE left hook to Sorden's body.  DOWN GOES SORDEN!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE SORDEN CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Saarikoski!
